What happens when you’re on the surf trip of your life and, suddenly, your van breaks down leaving you and your friends stranded in no man’s land? The picture could be real, but Spanish art collective Surf & Comics wants to bring that uncomfortable feel to the comic strips. “A Distant Wave” hopes to become a long, high-quality PDF comic, so scriptwriter Maxi González and illustrator Tayfun Sezer have launched a crowdfunding campaign to drive the project to a successful completion.
