The Vans US Open of Surfing 2015 entered Round 2, at Huntington Beach, California. Adam Melling and Kanoa Igarashi stole the day’s highest heat scores. The Australian seems to be comfortable in the lineup. Melling applied his effective backhand trumps to move through to Round 3 of competition. “I started off sitting a bit further away from the pier and got a six straight off the bat. I moved over a bit closer to the wall then just got back-to-back bombs so I was happy to get those waves,” explained Melling.
