The Surfing Heritage & Culture Center (SHACC) will host its first annual National Luau on the 21st August, in Washington, DC. The Luau will bring together an unprecedented gathering of surfing legends and icons to discuss and celebrate the legendary filmmaker Bruce Brown and his movie “The Endless Summer”. Robert August and Mike Hynson, the stars of the film, will attend the event alongside other wave riders who appear in the movie, including Paul Strauch, Fred Hemmings, and Joey Cabell. Robert “Wingnut” Weaver, co-star of “The Endless Summer II,” will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
