Hurricane Epsilon merged with a low-pressure system near Greenland, generating an unprecedented XXL swell in the North Atlantic. The combination of the two systems, together with the mechanics of the Nazaré Canyon, created the perfect conditions for some of the largest and cleanest waves ever recorded at Nazaré.
