Justin Quintal has conquered the 2015 Vans Joel Tudor Duct Tape Invitational, at Huntington Beach Pier, California. The logging final was held in two-to-three-foot waves. Noseriding skills, connecting sections, longer rides, cross steps and holding postures. The recipe for success also includes comradery, no hassling, no pumping, and medium pride levels. The decisive heat included two new faces – Tommy Witt and Kai Ellice-Flint – and two classic names – Justin Quintal and Troy Mothershead. They all wanted to win, despite the be-cool spirit embedded in the DNA of the event founded by Joel Tudor.
