Kalani Vierra and Krystl Apeles have been crowned the 2015 Tandem Surfing world champions, at Makaha Beach, in Oahu, Hawaii. Despite the challenging overhead surf, the SeaHawaii Tandem Surfing World Championship was a spectacular success. The overall level of competition was incredibly high, and all fans kept their eyes on the water during the final heat. Vierra and Apeles were clearly delivering at the highest level. They performed an arabesque, flat, acro and split acro on their winning wave, and maxed out their lift score twice in the powerful waves.
