Adriano de Souza has taken out the 2013 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, after beating Nat Young, in the clean three-to-five foot (1 – 1.5 metre) Australian waves. Adriano de Souza is the first South American to win the event, held for the first time 52 year ago. “This is the most important event on tour to me. Guys like Andy Irons, Kelly Slater, my hero Mick Fanning, they have all rung the Bell. I have been coming here a lot of years. I love the place”, says De Souza.
