Shaun Joubert has taken the gold medal at the 2013 ISA World Surfing Games and led South Africa to the overall team victory. In the last day, the waves of the Santa Catalina reef break, in Panama, delivered intense action and adrenaline. With powerful turns and aerial tactics, Joubert earned the gold medal and wrote history for South Africa. “I really enjoyed the waves in Panama, we had amazing waves all the event. It’s nice to come as a team and actually be at the beach cheering the other guys and you want your team to do well”, said Joubert.
