Logan Kamen has taken out the 2017 Easterns Surfing Championships, at Jennette’s Pier, in Nags Head, North Carolina. He won the Open, Junior and Boys divisions. Despite the storm surf conditions kindly provided by hurricanes Jose and Maria, the organizers found the ideal clean, double-overhead waves to crown the Open champions. The event run by the Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) celebrated its 50th anniversary and has once again crowned the best amateur surfers on the East Coast.
