Save the Waves Coalition announced the 2018 Wave Saver awardees. The non-governmental organization honors three individuals – an athlete, an environmentalist, and a business owner – for their unique and noteworthy contributions to protecting our waves and coastlines. This year’s winners are Cliff Kapono, Aulani Wilhelm, and Tom Stewart. The recognition ceremony will take place at the annual Life Is A Wave benefit event, set for June 21, 2018, in San Francisco, California.
