Connor O’Leary has taken out the 2016 Ballito Pro, held in South Africa. The Australian surfer from Cronulla defeated Joan Duru in an all goofy-foot final and climbed up the rankings to number two in the World Surf League (WSL) leaderboard. With perfect right-handers peeling down the line, the French started strong with a 7.37, but O’Leary held his composure and built a solid overall score of 17.30 points.
