The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast 2016 has finally reached the quarterfinals. Eight surfers will compete for the first event title of the Championship Tour (CT) season, at Snapper Rocks. The 2015 World Surf League champion kept his momentum going in the perfect three-to-four-foot surf. Adriano de Souza seems to adapt well to the Superbank, and the Round 5 victim was Conner Coffin. “I needed to fight so hard in order to come back in this heat. Conner is a super talented kid, and he started the heat pretty well with that 8. I realized that when I have the opportunity I have to push as hard as I can every single turn,” explained De Souza.
