Adriano de Souza, Owen Wright, Jordy Smith and Filipe Toledo have secured spots on the quarterfinals of the Rip Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach 2015, in Australia. Despite a few shock exits – Taj Burrow, John John Florence and Julian Wilson are out of the equation – the top seeds dominated Round 3. In the non-elimination heat, De Souza sent Kelly Slater and Josh Kerr to Round 5. “Kelly and I went wave for wave, and somehow I got the best wave of the exchange. I’m so lucky to make it straight to the quarters, and I’m really proud of myself to make it this far,” revealed the Brazilian surfer.
