Hizunome Bettero has taken out the inaugural Jack’s Surfboards Pro, in Huntington Beach, California. The Brazilian pro surfer defeated Arashi Kato in three-to-four-foot waves. Bettero, who has been a Qualifying Series warrior for over a decade, used his experience to claim his first-ever event. The athlete from Ubatuba unleashed his efficient frontside carves and aerial tricks to win the contest, and climb 105 spots up the rankings to 26th place.
