The International Surfing Association (ISA) is working to make sure surfing will remain an Olympic sport for years to come. Surfing will make its formal debut in the Summer Olympics in Tokyo 2020. But ISA wants to build a solid foundation that will keep surfing in the biggest sporting event in the world. The organization led by Fernando Aguerre believes that the recent announcement of surfing as the official sport of California will help keep it in the Olympic movement.
