Jack Medland has been crowned the 2018 Western Australia longboard champion. The event got underway in pumping conditions at Parry’s Beach, in Denmark. Western Australia’s best loggers were greeted by three-foot waves, long walls and even barrels. Medland not only won the Open Men’s division, but he also added the Open Logger state championship title to his trophy room. The longboarder from Marmion carefully picked the best waves and applied the right moves in the critical moments of his rides.
