The Main Break delivered the first waves of the 2016 Drug Aware Margaret River Pro, in Australia. And yes, Matt Wilkinson has won his Round 1 heat against Stuart Kennedy, and Dusty Payne. The Championship Tour (CT) leader found two good waves and found the key to Round 3. “This 6’1” board is feeling really awesome, but I just buckled it on my last ride, which is a bummer, but I am stoked to win that heat. I’ve got some other boards so I should be okay. Hopefully, the lefts turn on a bit, and I can find some barrels and do some big open face carves,” explained Wilkinson.
