The Surfers’ Circle Walk of Fame will be constructed on the traffic circle at Surfers’ Corner, in Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa. The new historic national landmark will celebrate the heritage and culture of South African surfing, where the first surfers rode waves back in 1919. The birthplace of surfing in South Africa, which has been acknowledged as one of the world’s top 20 surf towns by National Geographic, will feature a life-size bronze statue of Heather Price.
