A Kiwi surfboard shaper has designed the world’s most expensive surfboard. Forget the “Baywatch” surfboard, auctioned at eBay. Roy Stuart says he used advanced hydrodynamics to produce a very unusual surfboard. The Rampant 10’6” apparently allows surfers to reach speeds of 35 miles per hour. For “only” 1.3 million dollars, you’ll get an extravagant wooden plank that weighs 31 pounds (14 kilograms), coated with a 23-carat gold dragon inlay.
