The Brazilian surfing Armada impressed with three heat victories over Australian riders, as the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast 2015 enters Round 3 of competition, at Snapper Rocks. After 11 consecutive lay days, pro surfers returned to the Superbank. In one of the most exciting heats of the day, Kolohe Andino and Jeremy Flores fought for a Round 3 seat. In the end, the American secured a narrow win over the Frenchman. “I was planning on surfing my own heat and not worrying about him, but then I had to because he was surfing so good. I haven’t been using a leash in about a week, so I was a bit nervous to throw one on, so I chose not to today,” revealed Andino.
