Wiggolly Dantas defeated Keanu Asing to claim the 2014 Quiksilver Saquarema Prime, held in Brazil. Waves in the 4-6 foot range (1.5-2 metres), strong currents and onshore winds would have made for even more challenging conditions for the athletes if it were not for the jet ski assists. Regardless of the conditions, fans packed the beach to watch their favorite athletes battle it out for the title of the first Prime event of 2014.
