The 2013 Hurley Pro has entered Round 2 in the first day of competition at Lower Trestles, California. Surfers hit the water in clean two-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at Lower Trestles, for a week of barrier-breaking surfing and dramatic competition. Kelly Slater and Joel Parkinson failed to win their Round 1 heats, and had to surf their best to beat wildcards Dane Reynolds and Ian Crane, in Round 2.
