In marking Duke’s 125th birthday (August 24th, 1890), The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation is honoring his legacy by raising funds for youth athletes and scholars in Hawaii. Duke Kahanamoku is Hawaii’s original ambassador of Aloha. Both on land and in water, the iconic sportsman made waves across the globe. Fortunately, the spirit of Duke is well alive worldwide. The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation has gifted more than $2.3 million dollars to scholar athletes and non-profit organizations in Hawaii, since its inception in 1986.
