The 2016 Master of the Ocean will hit Cabarete, in the Dominic Republic, between February 23rd-28th. The only water sports competition featuring surfing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) returns for its 14th edition. The event, which evolved from “Ironman of Watersports” to “Master of the Ocean” was founded by Marcus Bohm in 2013. It features 12 teams of four athletes. Each rider competes in a discipline, and the top 15 competitors move to a final stage, where they’ll battle for the Master of the Ocean title.
